Crazy wiring idea

What's be really cool is a push pull concentric pot. Volume tone like a single coil or humbucker, like stubhead said, that and a 3 way selector switch. For 2 humbuckers though.

Thats a better idea than my fist one.

Another idea for my guitar, since it only has one pup, I could have 2 push pulls for my guitar, volume and tone, though it may sound a bit weak distorted.

One pickup, why two push/pulls, and what are they doing?

I noticed that I only use coiltap (or parallel if the coiltap doesnt sound that great, like with the seymour duncan jazz pickup). I've got 2 tones 2 volumes and for each pickup under a push PUSH pot the coiltap, and that works great. live and for 'recording'. just a bash on the pot and I get a completely different sound. with one les paul I get 8 different tones, just by switching between pickups and coiltap. I dont even count tone pots! I use tone a lot. sometimes to get a more smooth santana-style sound on the bridge pickup (and a very, very smooth sound at the middle or neck position), or to do some steve morse tricks. with one axe, I cover all the bases now; fat humbucker tones, quacky strat tones, twangy tele-like tones, hot screamin humbuckertones. I got it all, just with a normal stock warmoth les paul  :laughing11:

When i'm finished with my warmoth, i'm gonna do that to my SG.I've got big plans for my Epi SG, being $300 bucks, i'm not gonna be overly sad if it fails. :laughing7:
