Costumes!!

Who has a good costume this year?  I want to see!

Here's mine.  I feel like a little kid today because I seriously would have given my right arm for this getup when I was 9.  I was waaaay into the old West.

I threw on a mask for handing out candy...

...and of course, I took the opportunity to have my wife snap off a few shots.  What I DIDN'T expect was for the skull to look as if it were floating, which makes the shot that much cooler!  :blob7:  The skull was actually sitting on top of a lampshade, but apparently my iPhone didn't identify that!

that's weird. and they say the iphone has such a great camera (unless it's a 3gs or older, then it has a horrible camera, even by 2005 standards and the iphone was released in 2007 )

well i guess that's what over exposure and poor image compression and over filtering will do..... still a cool photo though.

All I know is that it's an 8-megapixel camera.  It's a cellphone, not a Canon, so I don't exactly expect stellar photos from it.  It's an iPhone 4S.

The camera on my old HTC EVO was better, and that also had an 8-megapixel camera.

Kid pics!  Was impossible to get a decent shot of her, but my daughter was Starbuck from BSG.  I tried to teach her to respond to "what do you hear, Starbuck?" with "nothing but the rain," but she would just say all of it at once, lol.  Made her costume with the exception of the pants and boots. Getting the right lines on those shirts was difficult, and I hope CPS doesn't come after me for the Sharpie tattoo!  lol
