Cool Concept Guitars

I like the idea of NOT letting the flames (the painted ones) hide the figure with a solid color. Very cool.
None of those flames are "painted" they are inlaid flames of other woods..

Yes it is. Somewhere I say a pick of a soloist style that someone had actually did the EVH candy stripe in different color wood inlays. I've looked but can't find it.. It's pretty awesome looking, even tho the EVH thing has been over done..

This one's different...

Except for that hideous contraption where the bridge should be, I really like the jigsaw puzzle guitar. I laughed when I saw, but in good way.

They used that fugly bridge to hide where it doesn't match up properly after using the wrong piece of the Jigsaw Puzzle  :icon_jokercolor:  :laughing7:

I like it thou  :icon_thumright: .... looks like the Butcher shop block look .... in a way.

Seriously, those guitars are amazing, especially the second one. Imagine what you could do with some dyes thrown in there...

I only wish the flames went the other way in the second one. To me, that's just how flames on a guitar go.  :dontknow:

Due to the number of Van Halen replicas out there, I was kind of turned off on them.  I have a hang up about my guitars being, "mine," and so trying to make a replica doesn't work for me for some reason.  But that wooden inlay version is exactly the kind of twist I'd fall for.  Wow, I like it.

I agree, it's so over done it's just pathetic anymore. And I'm guilty of having one myself, but the wood inlay is really cool and unique. Besides that it belongs to a forum member.. :headbang:
