Cool body coming to the Showcase

Too funny. Just yesterday I was wondering if Warmoth could do a PRS Di Meola finish. There's my answer... you guys are good!

The concept is interesting, but the execution is poor.

Why is this?

It just looks really uneven.

The middle of the green part below the bridge is plain and doesn't have as much quilting as everything else.
The treble side near the lower horn is darker than the same spot on the bass side.
The blue/purple area doesn't seem the same width as the other colors.

Wood aint perfect.
Looks like its the flame not the paint thats done the darker.
Blue and purple are seperate colours on that to my eyes, so seperate it all looks the same size roughly.

We're experimenting and my camera phone isn't the best so..... :dontknow:
*pats on back*
Ignore Joey.  :laughing7:

That pretty much goes without saying. You all know that I'm extremely specific about everything, and if the slightest thing is off, it bothers me. :dontknow:

You've proven time and time again that it doesn't even need to be off to bother you  :laughing7:

Oh, btw, Joey, it's not supposed to be perfect, I think. I think it looks more natural and organic without everything being perfect.

In a word, no. I'd no sooner strap on a rainbow-finished guitar than I would slip into a silk taffeta ball gown with ruffled lace trim. I don't even like the top, and I'm a big fan of figured woods. But, that's just me.

No need to get fancy. A bevy of prepaid hookers will do. Nice, clean Canadian ones, though. None of those Detroit biohazards <grin>
