Completed: 50's Tweed Bandmaster 3x10 (5E7)

Thank you, my finely feathered friend!

I've built a million tweeds, but this one is special. It's very 3D with a smooth and rich texture to the mids. Loads of chime and punch!  Not the loudest amp due to the driver array, but man it's just magical.

Super low noise floor and quick feel to the attack. Bound to loosen a bit as the speakers are just out of their boxes.  Can't express how special this is. Thing is deceptively light weight.

THE scariest hole I've ever had to drill!  One mm off would have spelled disaster!  Transformer support bracket:

Exp with diff knobs.  Next faceplate will have logo along bottom edge and control label across the top.  This version is still better than having to read them backwards:

Cannot speak highly enough about the Studio Slips amp bag.  Wow!  My neighbor commented, "I was going to wear the thing out.  You could sleep in that thing!"  :icon_biggrin:  Just missing nameplate for front.

Soon.  Have to get my mic from a friend's house and gett'r done.  I'm not the best at recording live amp tones, but maybe I can get it in the ballpark.

Test fitting name plate.  A trip to Lowes is imminent for brass wood screws:

Nice man. I've really enjoyed watching this one come together. I second the votes to get a sample of it soon.

Thank you!

I hope to record her soon. I can't get over how amazing this amp is. So many amazing old school times that I've heard on record, but never live.  It's changed the way I look at amps and gear. It's ruined me for channel switchers and even picks to some degree. It's such a fun ride!

Awesome, Frank!  And vote number 3 for a recorded sample!  :kewlpics:  :rock-on:  :glasses9:  :headbang1:
