I'm currently conceptualizing a Strat build inspired by the Adrian Smith Jackson Strat. But, with all the customization options Warmoth has to offer, I can't just go with a painted white body. :laughing7: Besides, I already have a white Strat.
That said, it will be an alder body with a quilt maple top finished in black dye. It will have black binding and the hardware and pickups are black. I'm trying to come up with a color for the back of the body. I don't want clear and I don't want black. Black would otherwise be OK, if there was no black binding.
Fdesalvo posted up a Velocity, I believe, planning on a white back. I thought that was pretty cool, Olympic White, specifically. Any other thoughts? Grey or silver metallic? Ideas?
If it helps, it will be a maple neck, Warhead. I'm undecided on ebony vs. maple fingerboard, but I'm leaning towards ebony. Inlays will either be dots or sharkfins, also not sure yet.
Thanks in advance. :glasses9:
