Well the thing that he did that I couldn't have done was the binding of the f-hole. The other stuff I could have done, but since it was my first build, and the parts were not done on the cheap, I didn't want to mess it all up. Also, the wiring up of the pickups would havebeen over my head...I had an on/on toggle switch wired in too. He did a expert job of the rounding of the fretends too. I'm feeling much more confident going into my next project doing the stuff myself with a few files from stewmac. I used to work at a big guitar company in CT where I worked alongside the guitar techs and I learned alot of stuff from them, but that was a few years back so I was a bit apprehensive to do it myself this time around. And you're right, the 4 month wait time was killer... I couldnt wait that long again just for final setup and wiring, but the f-hole binding WAS worth the wait. pics soon.
