First rate job, Updown! I love that body and I'm glad you made it into a gorgeous guitar!

SO nice, glad you didn't pickguard it. I was going to stain the mahog body I just ordered, but yours makes me hope I get a piece this nice, kudos.  :hello2:

Thanks so much all  :icon_biggrin:

What's your plan as far as strap buttons?
No plan on the strap buttons. Because ..... I do all my stuff in a home studio, about 80% sitting down.
So don't really need them as yet, but could always put them on !!
As to where  :icon_scratch:  I'm not sure.

Probably the back one, in the middle & maybe best with the front one, on the neck plate screw  :icon_scratch:

Works just great  :party07:
Sounds great too, dose have that beefy Gibson sound to it being all Mahogany & a solid heavy beast as well.
But can see where the Gibson 500T pickup gets some bad raps around the web. Again it's a personal choice!!

The 500T can sound Uuummmm ... a bit brittle by it's self.
Neck & Middle best sounding combos.
But with some tweaking of the T/Shots & tone controls can get a decent sound from it.

Probably just me being used to Burstbucker Pros in my Gibson LP & the 57' Classic Humbuckers in my SG 61' Reissue
Many thanks again for your kind comments .... Cheers  :eek:ccasion14:

That's aweseome.  The cocobolo top with the clean pin stripe to the clear mahogany back is a perfect and beautiful combo.    Nice job!

I'd love to do one of these one day, but I'd do a rev Jackson headstock with 3 hums and a trapeze tailpiece..... :icon_thumright:

Delayed Thanks  & Just added some outdoor / sun-baking pic's  :icon_biggrin:

Beautiful!  What are your plans for strap buttons? As a long time Firebird player I am curious about how the balance works out.
