That can achieve a professional appearance?

I'm trying hard to get my lefty iceman started. and the 300+ dollars it needs for a Warmoth/Tonar job is still Ouch.

I know killer things can happen with Black Korina and Wenge, but I like my color.

I agree with AutoBat. You can make it happen with ReRanch materials and you'll get a lot of help here to get you through it.

I like those costs!

but...

Is there a way to get paint of Reranches quality level, with more hyperactive, caffeine infused colors?

I know about Alsa, but at 40 bucks a can it seems like I'd be near 200 dollars when finished.

Check out the AutoAir colors. You can shoot those with a Preval but I suspect you might have a compressor. The cheap touch up guns arent bad til your ready to step up.

So I'm leaning towards Auto Air Porn Star Pink over a white base

So for a mahogany/maple combo I imagine I need to grain fill and sand back a few times?

Then shoot a white base (is there a primer for this or do I just shoot white paint?)

gentle wet sanding.

Shoot this color (I get the feeling two or three coats)

Sand again

2- 3 coats of clear then sand back, one more coat of clear then sand back

and be done?

Or maybe I just leave the grain open and shoot the whole thing with Reranch Sonic Blue, pinstripe it and add a matte clear.

I am having a really hard time figuring out the quantities and costs on this though.

how do I know how much to buy to shoot ONE iceman?
