I've maintained the #madoodah room on DalNet for a number of years - its IRC chat, so you need an IRC client (trillian works, is free, there are other free chat clients)
Clean, no age restrictions but juvenile kiddy behavior is not a problem there and not tolerated. Guitar, amps and music talk is the topic always. You might want to arrange for a meeting there, as its not used all that much (not a steady hang out of folks)
