Does anyone have any, or more importantly PICTURES of builds like these?

particularly the rear routed, Humbucker... all maple neck aspects?

how the body contours look from the side... is also a big interest to me

a big thank you to anyone who replies!

I don't have any pictures for you, but I know that Warmoth can easily do that. You want a picture, go to the strat body builder on the warmoth website, select wood of your choice, a rear rout, a bridge of your choice, a bridge humbucker, an output jack of your choice, a contoured heel (if you like), and the finish of your choice, and you have something that is like a charvel in the way you described and more.

I built a Charvel inspired strat. Some of the details are here: http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=4108.msg45110#msg45110.

I've upgraded it a bit since then to make it an HSH with a Screamin Demon in the bridge and a Cool Rails in the neck positions. So the pics there aren't what it is now, but the idea was inspired by a Jackson Strat that Adrian Smith was playing in the late 80s. That guitar is very similar to what Charvel is doing now.

I know Warmoth can build that kind of strat, and I've done a bunch in the body builder,

My request for pictures was because I wanted to see if they look like Charvels in real life!

So thank you mike! If someone slapped a Charvel Sticker on that Lovely Strat of yours, I wouldn't know the difference!

Are Charvel strats significantly different from Warmoth strats?

Cooler paintjobs and a contour cut into the Front of the lower horn.

it seems everything else can be done through Warmoth!

How does that Cool Rails pickup sound?

Cool Rails are great, but the Hot Rail I had I hated. I've never seen a pair of pickups recommended for the same instrument so vastly different in awesomeness.

The Cool Rails is awesome. Clear and punchy and lots of power. Super easy to get that driven, bright Stevie Ray sound out of it. I have to agree about the Hot Rails too. I put a CR-HR combination in my friend's Strat and the CR sounded great, but the HR was muddy and very undefined.

I can't say enough about the Screamin Demon either. Really drives the amp and has a deep clear bottom end. They both sound great mixed with the Quarter Pounder I've got in the middle position.

I run a cool rails, vintage rail and hot rail in my strat
the hot rail is a hard pickup to get to understand, way to much umph for it, I finally took all tone control off it and use it to punch trough using it in conjunction with the vintage rail.
The cool rails in the bridge is the Gem of the guitar, it is a great pickup, I love it
