Changes To My VIP?

I should just stay away from Warmoth until I'm ready to order...
I'm thinking about going with a quilt maple top with purple dye, instead of a flame maple top with black dye...
or flame maple with purple dye?
Thoughts?

I say stay with the classic black dye.  The pictures you had posted looked darned good.  Also seems like purple could be sort of a fad that may come and go with time.  (Think seafoam green and pink hotrods of 20 years ago).  Of course there are exceptions like plum crazy Mopars from 1969-1972.

Yeah, I think I  will stick with the black.
I have too much time to think about this! haha.
I just saw a Carvin with purple dye on a quilt top, and a natural mahogany back and it looked beautiful.
I'll leave the purple for a future build, maybe.

Stick with black dye (I wouldn't do purple anything) and put some gold hardware on there. 'Will look awesome.

Nah, I'm using chrome for this one. I do like gold hardware, though.
