Received my custom Warmoth Telecaster body today. Kudos to the Warmoth team for putting Spud's orders off to the side to get this done.

It is a chambered Walnut body with a Walnut lam top. It is routed for a Charlie Christian neck and tele bridge pickup that I will order from Lollar. For the bridge I will be using a Van Dyke-Harms Hybrid Telecaster Bridge and Monolithic Saddle Combo.

This is an outrage!

I was eyeballing this lam top for so long, so it's really cool to see it in the flesh. Beautiful Tele.
I had it in the cart probably 10 times, but canceled. The only thing putting off the purchase was because the wife had a bunch of trips planned and I wanted to be home when it shipped. I finally ordered it and asked that they not ship until a certain date.

To break with the Spud-nik news. Weighed the body which came in at 3 lbs and 7.3 oz.

Also put the Van Dyke-Harms Hybrid Telecaster Bridge and Monolithic Saddle Combo (that will be used on my Roasted Pine Tele) on to see what it would look like. Trying to decide to go with this, a brass or other version of their bridge.

The pickups from Lollar will arrive tomorrow. Now I need to focus on the erotic process of lathering thin coats of Tru-Oil to the body.

Maybe a half bridge and direct mount the pickup?

That's a possibility. I actually contacted them to see if they make a black bridge to see if that was another possibility, but they said not at this time.
Wilkenson makes a black half tele bridge. Was thinking it would show off more of the nice wood.
