carved top dinky P bass

Am I imagining these, or did they get stealthily removed as an option?  I know there were many changes to carved tops in general within the last year,  but these are gone completely.

I noticed that myself. I did think about asking them about it, but never quite got around to it. So don't know.

Carved Top Dinky P was discontinued 1.5 years ago or so.

I reckon the fact it has only just now sparked any interest suggests your decision to discontinue it was the right one.

You will notice that yours has the old-style carved top on it, which we don't do any more, and haven't done for a long time. The Dinky P was discontinued at the time we went to the new DL Carved Tops. It was never a big seller, and we didn't feel it was worth it to put the time into transitioning it to a DL Top. A few were done after the move to the DL Top was complete, but it didn't take long before we just decided to end the Dinky P Carved Top completely. I would say yours is very likely the last one we did.

Just checked, my Carved Dinky P was Ordered on: 7/10/2015 11:01:07 AM

And I've just ordered a black Warmoth metal logo for it, when that turns up, it'll finally be finished!
