Burns Bass Parts

I'm restoring a really old and nice Burns Nu-Sonic Bass and I need some parts for the bridge, anybody knows who can sell parts for this instrument?. All inputs are welcome becuse I must restore it, it's a gift from a friend that passed away some years ago and his wife gave his instruments to his friends, she don't want to sell them an keep in "friends company".

Maybe some UK forumites could advise you of a site or two, that stocks old Burns parts..In any case, the parts would be hard to find and you really need to date when that bass was made. Like any long running model from any manufacturer, the models would vary as time goes on. I am no expert in Burns but aware that the company has been stop/start in manufacturing instruments over the years and had many different owners, all of which makes it difficult to source parts.

Good luck with your search.  I like the old Burns stuff...... Kind of reminds me of an old Triumph motorcycle for some reason, the british engineering and styling........
