What is the build sequence for a Bass, I don't want to get ahead of myself on any of the assembly procedures and do something ahead of time.  I have the body on my right and the neck on my left, next...….

I start by buying stuff.  Once I get enough parts I start putting it together.  Before screwing in the pups I make sure the strings line up in a pleasing manner over the pups.

This can give you some ideas, ignore the person who starts the video and the people at the end. The guy who actually builds the guitar isn't too bad.

It all depends on the body shape and if it has a pickguard or anything, but here is what I did for my Hybrid Strat build:

Mount the tuners.

Mount the pickups, bridge pickup screwed into bridge and neck P90 drilled and screwed into the cavity.

Screw in the bridge, line up the pickguard and control plate and mount the neck, mark the holes for the pickguard and control plate.

Drill the holes for the pickguard and control plate.

Wire up all the electronics, drill the input jack hole.

Drill the holes and install the strap locks.

Fine-tune action and intonation at the bridge.

Done
Then of course you can do more set up stuff after that.

If I may make a suggestion, dive into the "Work In Progress" section of this forum. There you will find numerous builds documented from start to finish. What kind of body style and configuration are you working with? We may be able to suggest some good examples.
