Build question

This is going to be my first build and was wondering if it was possible to have a tele body with a Warmoth Pro Superwide neck?

You would just have to make sure it's routed for a strat neck pocket, as there are no tele heel super-wides...

Actually, the Strat neck heel will fit in the Tele pocket, but not the other way around.  So go for it, dude.

The neck pocket is the same width in all cases, although it is as Bagman says - a Strat heel will fit a Tele pocket, but not vice-versa.

The difference on super-wide necks is compensated by milling the heel so it'll fit a standard 2 3/16" pocket. You end up with a bit of undercut. but it's not as noticeable as you might imagine. Works out ok.

The last one I did was for a gentleman who was used to a classical concert acoustic and didn't want the feel to change much on his new Strat. It worked out ok, but in my opinion you lose a bit of what makes electrics so playable. Of course, if you watch Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin, or Paco De Luca play you wouldn't worry about any of that  :icon_biggrin:
