I am at the end of my second tele
remember that is the guitar of my choice to play
now having said that, I want a Double cutaway, dual humbucker guitar that does not remind me of a Fender product.
and I have found I do not really like the TOM design as I do not really like the feeling of playing my 335, it is the palm feeling on my right hand I object to.
So I want comments on none TOM hard tails and what you like about them.
thanks guys
Jim

I'm a big fan of the Hipshot as well, but a slightly different model...

It's very similar to the SS Vintage unit Bagman likes...

but it has a surround milled out of brass and then plated rather than a stainless plate with a break. They both use the same stainless saddles. Another consideration is price - the all-stainless part is $20 less expensive than the milled/plated brass part. You can get either one here.

I use the Schaller 475 bridges.  ABM makes some cool ones to.

Question:  What is a TIM design?  I assume TOM = Tune-O-Matic?

Trying to sray away from thar Fender look. I like the new PRS hard tail. I was plannin to try a neck thru or set neck soon, so was interested in something I coud have good height adjustability also, but that is down the road.

If you want a unique look you could get an aluminum acoustic looking strat bridge....they sure are purdy and you wouldn't have any height adjustment issues :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin::headbang:
