Bridge grounding for hardtail strat

Following on from the bridge grounding thread below, can anyone advise how to ground a hardtail strat?
I have a hardtail body on order with the vintage strat bridge, and obviously there's no trem claw to ground the wire to.
So, where should the ground wire be soldered to?

Historically, you bare 1 inch of wire and sandwich it between the wood and bridge plate. That's been the standard for decades.
