Blackheart Little Giant with Marshall-ish mods (Youtube)

Man, I absolutely love the difference.  What all did you do?  I want to have that amp with those mods to replace my JCM800 2x12 combo.  I've always been a fan of A/B pan pedaling 2 separate amps, and I have a smaller amp for clean/slightly dirty.

Great work!

Thanks, Mark. Here's what I did:

Replace the first 22uf gain stage cathode cap with a .68uf and replace the first 1.5K gain stage cathode resistor with a 2.7K.

Then replace the 100K resistor in the tone stack with a 33K resistor.

Then replace the 1.5K resistor on the wiper of the volume pot with a 470K resistor and put a 470pf or 500pf cap across the 470K resistor.

Then replace the 1.5K resistor on the grid of the output tube with a 5.6K resistor.

Finally, solder a 2.2K-ohm resistor & a 1uF cap across the 1.5K & 1uF second stage cathode R&C.
Here is a link to the pre-modded schematic: http://rowbinet.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/bh5_schematic-rev-20070611.pdf
If you look at some old Marshall schematics on the Web, you'll see that the changes look a lot like the Super Lead with cascaded inputs, for example.
