Hey Bigsby players!

What's your favorite bridge setup to use with a B5 on a flat top solid body guitar? I've been looking at the Mastery bridge and Schaller roller bridge.

Save a couple bucks and go with the Guitar Fetish tune-o-matic-style roller bridge:

Guitar Fetish is also selling Wilkinson roller saddle bridges similar to the Tuno-O-Matic, but with saddles you can adjust the height on with shims if necessary.

Have to make the shims, though. They don't sell anything specific to do that with. An aluminum beverage can and a pair of scissors works well for this. You may want to do this since with a Warmoth compound radius neck, you end up needing about an 18" radius at the bridge, and these end up around 12" as delivered. But, at least it can be done. The Tune-O-Matic design doesn't allow for any radius adjust at all other than filing various depth slots in the saddles, which you can't do with a roller.

I used the Schaller roller bridge on Valentina and have not been disappointed.
Also, do yourself a favor and check out the Vibramate V-5 mounting kit for the Bigsby.  It makes the install a piece of cake and you don't have to drill any additional holes in your body.  Gives you the option of doing something else down the road if you choose.
Valentina and the Vibramate kit can be found here:
