The reposition has more "cut". Both sound good. I'm more of a P-Bass fan myself.

Love to see bass content. The 30” SSP-bass I built for my dad was bar none the best ive ever played.

I’d love to see MM vs MM Sweet spot.

I agree (I think) in that the reposition sounded crunchier and trebliier...er. Definitely not in the "Fat Bottom Girl" category. My preference is to let the guitars play at that level while I like my bass to sound fuller, rounder, and more boomy. Tony Kanal's bass tone in No Doubt's "Spiderwebs" is along where I like to go, where there's audible articulation but still enough low end to not sound clackety or dry or crunchy.

Yeah, these adjectives really are subjective and comical. Very muaaahhhh.
