Best Way to get keyboard tones from a guitar.

I can't get the vid's while I am at work, but I would suggest something like a Fuzz Factory (ZVex, yup, expensive) for some really synth like noises from the guitar.  Kinda early 80's sawtooth wave analog synth stuff, but still, it does a great job.
