Best 2pt non locking tremolo?

One thing I'm not clear on, do the Gotoh 510 and Wilkenson VS100 give the same dive bomerability as something like a Floyd Rose?

No. All of these trems in this thread are good and reliable and work well when set up (I also favor the Mannmade/PRS). But none will compete with a FR with it's locking nut. The FR locks the string exactly at each end of the scale, the saddle and the nut, as soon as we remove one or both of those locks, we open up a wealth of potential binding points at the nut, tuner, saddles, trem plate and sustain block.
