I just love 9-46's. I use Ernie Ball "Hybrid Slinky" 9-46 strings on my short scale electrics. On the acoustic side, I recently switched from Elixir "Nanoweb" 10-47's to RotoSound, phosphor bronze, JK9 "jumbo king" 9-48's on my SST Custom. Amazingly good tone considering the extreme light gauge, but then again it is a "solid body" acoustic meant to be played amplified.fdesalvo said:Off topic, I have Elixir custom lights on this and it's an amazing. 9-46 gauge is perfect for my style.
You must be able to bend two full notes. I use 11-52's on my 24-3/4" neck. :icon_thumright:BigSteve22 said:I just love 9-46's. I use Ernie Ball "Hybrid Slinky" 9-46 strings on my short scale electrics.
Three half steps, though I seldom do. I just prefer the reduced tension.Rgand said:You must be able to bend two full notes. I use 11-52's on my 24-3/4" neck. :icon_thumright:BigSteve22 said:I just love 9-46's. I use Ernie Ball "Hybrid Slinky" 9-46 strings on my short scale electrics.
