I love my Bass VI - but the fretboard is too cramped with a relatively narrow nut in relation to the size of the strings. The neck and whole guitar would be much more playable with a 1 and 7-8" neck.
It would also (to me at least) be much more comfortable with a Fatback neck option.

Oh, and a standard bridge route with a wider string spacing on the bridge - plus the wide nut - would make this thing awesome for fingerpicking as well as flat picking.
