So we played a festival last weekend (WestFest).  We were in a courtyard in front of an old church and had an audience of about 400 people.  Apparently one of those audience members had a video camera because he posted this video of us on youTube!

I'm glad that we didn't suck right then :)

Oh - and of course that's a warmoth telecaster...  :headbang:

Excellent!  Sounds very non-sucky indeed.

And no pesky huge amps or unwieldy drums!  Root-rock crash and twang without the roots rock baggage!

yea you can see the road case with my AxeFX by the violin player there  :)

Actually, thinking of it now, the electronic drums were a bit of a PITA because you could only hear them through the (tiny) monitors out front.  The bass player was having some trouble with the groove.

Perhaps our drummer needs a high quality drum amp of some kind.... I feel a project coming on!  :glasses10:

Is that a new Tele that I haven't seen yet? Build thread?

Nah it's an old one - the first one I made with a bender actually.  I got the neck from the Warmoth sale (!).

It looks cool because it has one of those guitar skinz (sic) on it.  You actually have to look really closely at it to see that it's a sticker  :)

Nice work!

I could hear the drums fine. The bass seems a bit lost, though.

I'm sure it was different on stage.
