Color me impressed.

Wow! Who knew? Great performance and a glimpse at her personality as well. Thanks Bagman!

Tony's still got it, too! What a pro.

Can't see the vid at work, but that wasn't actually news :) There are a whole bunch of vids on YT with just her and a piano that are really good as far as I remember.

Quality singing and songwriting always work, it's just the trappings of the time that change...

I'm reminded of Jim Nabors, who played a puppy-faced simpleton for most of his career but had one helluva set of pipes on him. You gotta go where the money/opportunity takes you.

Wow, color me impressed, too...like her hair!

I'm not a Lady Gaga supporter, and in fact, I can't stand her, but this is very good.  While it's very highly unlikely I will ever purchase any of her recordings, this song did prove to me she actually does have some talent.  Good job, Lady Gaga.  :occasion14:

Yeah, she's the real deal. Used to do the open mic circuit in New York under her real name: Stefani Germanotta. If you could adopt a crazy persona and milk the masses for their money, wouldn't you?

It's funny that this post was here when I got home, a buddy at work was telling me today, he heard lady gaga has been approached by QUEEN to sing for them. I guess we'll see

Tony Bennett has never had a number 1 record until now.  The power of the Gaga.  I don't dig her stuff, but she is a pop genius.  She can master the hook, who hasn't had a Gaga song stuck in her head?  She probably has the best handlers and producers around, but near as I can tell, she is doing the music that she writes the way she wants to do it in a world that doesn't allow that.  Bravo!

Wow, he didn't have a number one with "I Left My Heart in San Francisco"?

That reminds me of when Steven Tyler was asked how many number one hits Aerosmith had up that point, when the Armageddon song came out and made number one, and he was like "Oh, maybe three?" And the answer was "zero."

I thought that "I don't want to miss a thing" was their only #1 hit, but that both Albums "Get a Grip" and " Nine lives were # 1 on Bill board. Funny is that "Toys in the attic", their best selling album. 8 times Platinum, only charted #11.
