All thou I think it's paved bricks and not the top of house blocks.

That bridge XL will absolutely shine if you give it a series/parallel/cut switch - it's like two good Tele bridge pickups right next to each other, except that doesn't work with real Tele bridge PU's, they mess with each other. What are you planning to DO with the Q-filter?
 
I'm going to use a normal master volume and tone setup, with the additionof a master q-filter control, wired without the capacitor+resistor so as to be used as an inductance control (l-filter?)
