...wire up this single TVJones Classic Bridge with a Single Volume knob (no tone, no switches, etc.. just one vol. knob)?

I plan to use this simple wiring plan.  I will also probably add a treble bleed kit to it, although the jury is still out on that...

Seems you've got your bases covered.  All you need to know is which wire is which on your TV Jones (hopefully it says or is easily findable on their website).
Shileded wires are your friend.
Also, I believe TV Jones uses single conductor wiring with the shield to be grounded.  See the inset picture of this Seymour Duncan diagram:

I've not worked with humbuckers before, and the 'parallel'  diagram kinda confused me.

I don't have the pickup in front of me to check the leads.

The 'standard' diagram from their site looks pretty straightforward, but I was wondering if it would be possible to split these with a push/pull knob, and if so, what would be gained, and what would be the risks?  More noise?  Loss of output?

Sorry for the newbish questions.  Just want to understand my options better before I decide how to proceed...

Thanks.

Here's a diagram for series/parallel.  Just substitute the TV Jones wire colours and you'll be right as rain  (using either a push/pull or push/push volume knob)

I like series/parallel better than split, too. You don't lose as much volume but get a very similar tone.

Thanks guys, I have my switch on order.  Once it gets here, I'll solder it up and bolt on the neck.

It's going to be a fantastic guitar when it's all done, I can just feel it.  :toothy10:
