Anyone here have a Black To Clear Burst finish?

Hi All, new to the forum. Just ordered my first Warmoth strat body (chambered black korina in black to clear burst finish) and neck (one piece maple).  Can't wait to get this all pieced together!

I'm trying to find pics of others that have the Black to Clear Burst finish but google isn't returning much for me to look at.  Anyone on here have pics of their Warmoth builds with this finish so I can drool over it while I wait for mine to come in?  :icon_biggrin:

Here's a couple shots of my black to clear Soloist. Expect the body to be not quite as saturated in color as the showcase photos.

Thanks for the pics guys!  I'll be sure to post pics of mine once she's ready.  This finish seems to vary a lot depending on the color of the wood underneath, it's one of the reasons I wanted to see a few different examples.

So I now have all the parts I ordered for this build in my possession except the neck and body from Warmoth.  I'm Canadian and they've both made their way to Canada and I'm axiously awaiting the final delivery!

For anyone wanting to geek out on the specs... this is what I'm getting my favorite local luthier to piece together.

Chambered Black Korina Hardtail Strat body
One piece Maple Neck (Standard Thin - Vintage Modern) with 12 radius and 22 Stainless Steel Medium Jumbo frets
Babicz Aluminum Bridge
Gotoh Stealth Locking Tuners
Neck and Bridge pickups from a 2007 American Standard Strat
Three Way Switch with Blender Pot (1st position - Bridge pickup only, 2nd position Bridge pickup with neck blended in, 3rd position neck with bridge blended in)


I think my custom switching system will work great for live... if you need to mellow out your bridge pickup.. you can dial in a bit of neck pick up... and vice versa.  Then the bridge pickup alone is always there as a quick option in position 1 to get a biting lead tone at the flick of a switch.
