Anyone here etch their own PCB'S

I did that a million years ago.  I honestly don't recommend doing it any more.  There are a bazillion on-line PCB houses that will do 1 or 2 PCBs for cheap.  Well, cheaper than it would take for you to do it including time and materials...

IMHO of course. 

Oh - and to answer your original question, I just used what the electronics supply house had for "PCB etchant".  Don't know exactly what it was.
 
I never bothered with etching, I have all my PCBs made by OSH Park.

I could not open your link, but if it's the vinegar method, it's been tried, it works but can take forever. A popular alternative to ferric chloride is muriatic acid mixed with hydrogen peroxide; it is what I should be using in the near future on a few etching projects with aluminium enclosures.
