Anyone catch the eclipse?

The sky was clear up here in Michigan when I came home from work. I pulled out the binoculars and the moon came in perfectly. After conking out in the chair and waking up, I go outside and sadly, the clouds rolled in. It isn't at peak yet at the time of this writing, but I think I'm gonna wind up missing it, unless high pressure can work in my favor quickly.

Catching it here in Kansas, skies fortunately cleared out from this afternoon. Went back outside and at 0144 CST it's just about a hair from being total.

It's mid winter here in Sweden with lots of snowy weather coming in waves. So no moon. Too bad, I would have liked to see it!

Nah, I missed it....fell asleep.  I have seen a lunar eclipse before though and they are pretty cool.

We got a snow storm in Indianapolis, so I didn't even bother attempting it.

Beat me to it, stupid clouds.

Good to know there's another board member in Indy, though  :party07:

Here in Pittsburgh I could see the moon through a thin cloud cover.  I could see the shadow moving across the moon, but couldn't see any details.  I ended up falling asleep about a half hour before totality.

It has rained for the last 5 days strait here in California, I was looking forward to seeing it for the last month and Blamo, Albert Hammond lied to us,

I saw it pretty well. All the way up until it was past the transitions. I could see a small bit of it in the trees when it was that hot-metal color.

Was little cloudy here in Quebec but I could still see it, I love astronomy :toothy10:.

I did, had a decent camera and a lens barely long enough to consider shooting the moon, and didn't even think to grab my tripod at 3am. So I just got a fuzzy handheld snap cropped to death. Oh well, another 84 years and I can try again.
