anybody got a 7 string neck laying around? WTB for a strange project.

Hey everybody!

I am looking to buy a cheaper 7 string neck for a project.  The neck will be used to build an electric 7 string banjo like the one pictured below, just electric. I would modify the neck and add the banjo tuner at the 5th fret then slap all of this on a tele-type hand-made body similar in design to the banjitar I built in 2011.

Great use of a banjo! Thanks for the link, Dangerous6.  Presently, because I cannot afford my new project and know wants to give me parts to play with (grin), I have been working on fingerpicking my banjitar with emphasis on a drone string.  In the key of E, I would leave the e note open and bounce to it like a bass line. This sounds really cool and more banjo-like than ever.  I will add audio clips when I can.

Ya, it's pretty cool, one of my fav banjo licks, the song is kick ass too. Zakk is the shite...

Satch is pretty good on the banjo to, come to think of it, I think his is a banjitar too...
