Another Metal Logo Question

So, I've decided the materials for my neck (Bubinga Neck with Pau Ferro Fingerboard) and it required no finishing at all.

Thant being said, how do I need to prep the wood surface where the Metal Logo would be applied?  Will the Logo work well with a non-finished wood?

Yes. It works excellent with unfinished wood. The adhesive is very aggressive.
