Couldn't resist this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ESP-EDWARDS-E-LP-98LTC-Duncan-Nitro-L-Tenon-New-Japan_W0QQitemZ380207007481QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item58861a86f9

I've only heard good things about these Edwards LPs and this is almost exactly what I would build if it was a Warmoth.

SD pickups, Gotoh bridge and tuners, I don't think you can't go wrong that!

I'll post some pics when it's home :headbang: .

Looks pretty cool.  Isn't that what they call LTD's over there? Except that this one is obviously made in Japan rather than Korea.

I can see where a certain company out of Nashville might have a couple of things to say about them trying to sell that model in the US so probably won't be seeing them on these shores any time soon.

It's not quite like LTD's, from what I've read the quality is a little better.

I guarantee you will be happy. I bought an Edwards LP last year in Japan and was amazed by the quality but also the sound of it. It just rings really, really well and is a fantastic guitar.

I admit that I sold it but ONLY because the neck was smaller than I like. The person I sold it to, however, keeps raving about it to me.

So it's not 'down the drain' at all!

Good to hear some more positive feedback about them :)

Coming from a guy who played almost only Jackson and Ibanez guitars for 6 years, I think having a neck slightly thinner than a true 59 roundback will work fine for me :guitaristgif:

Nothing wrong with LTD's either.  I had an EC1000 for a couple of years.  The neck radius was a little too flat for me which is why I ended up selling it but it was top notch otherwise. Best value for money deal I ever got on a guitar.

Here's a family shot:

The guitar plays A LOT better than I thought it would. Action is as low as it can get, shorter frets than I'm used to but that's no big deal, beautiful finish and hardware, the SD SH1/SH4 pickup combination is always a winner. Let me tell you, that thing is a Les Paul Custom without the Gibson logo on it :headbang:

I love the look of the LP Customs. My favorite kinda les paul. If only, Warmoth. If only.

They will do binding (single ply though) on both sides of the body and have block inlays.  Diamond headstock veneers pop up on Ebay all the time.  I've got one.

That's the whole point though, isn't it?  :icon_biggrin:

That's a good looking guitar :icon_thumright:
