I think he's meaning Lacewood, but Warmoth only seem to offer that wood as a laminated top for a body, not as a fingerboard. Doesn't mean you can't change things around to accomodate it.  :icon_thumright:

I checked out that link and I think that's a rad idea!
I also found a company that specializes in woods and they even offer "fretboard blanks"

UNfortuantley, Snakewood is not listed...is it because the description says it is too brittle?
What would the tone sound like?
How would I be able to coordinate a snakewood fretbloard with the guys at warmoth?
