Angling VS100 Trem?

Hi there,

I recently got the VS100 for my player series and used it with the fender studs screwed fully down.

I was wondering if there is any downside to angling the trem up like this.

The playability and intonation is fine for my liking but I'm worried that the knife edges might wear faster from the angle and the fact that I used fender studs.

Why not just raise the studs and make the other needed adjustments...easy fix.

I was worried that the fender studs would lower down while playing since it doesn't have the locking studs that the gotoh studs have.

Also I probably would need to angle them slightly even if it's parallel since I wanted to use the Jeff Beck setup. I might try the recommended set up the next time I change strings though.

But do you think a fender studs and the angle would be a problem other than not being able to lock the studs?

No I don't think that would be a problem.
