Angled Humbucker?

I've been wanting to build a couple of parts guitars for some time now and have always dug the Warmoth stuff.

I'm curious what everyone here thinks about angled humbuckers and the effect on the sound.

Oh, and Hi!

Little to no effect on the tone. I think that van halen put the humbucker at an angle on his frankenstrats because they didn't have f-spaced humbuggies then and he wanted the outer pole pieces to be under the outer strings a little better with his floyd guitars. There are loads of guys here though that will swear that that doesn't make a difference either.

+1 to the above.  Eddie used Gibson PAF humbuggies with a floyd trem.

Will make no difference in the sound.  Just focus on getting the pickups you want; there are a lot of choices out there.

I think angling a humbucker is a waste of time as far as the affect on tone, and it doesn't look all that good either...
