Looks pretty good to me, so if it's better than the photo then no wonder you're pleased.

Warmoth are more generous with their paddle headstocks than I realized, have you considered making something a lot less stylish and tasteful than your last one?

Stylish and tasteful are in the eye of the beholder.  For example, some might find your efforts, Pete, to be garish and overdone, while other, wiser and more tasteful individuals might find them to be cheeky and sprightly.  I am pleased to count myself in the latter camp.

I was thinking of laminating up a butcher block body and leaving it as it. :icon_biggrin:

Actually it will get the same headstock as the Roadhouse is getting:

I was just looking (dreaming) at the custom neck builder and wishing W did paddle headstock necks with 6 in-line tuner holes and scale-conversion options etc., instead of the square paddle, 25 1/2" modern/vintage modern only, no tuner holes one that they list, when I realised I'd seen one here.

Do you know if this is a standard, but not on the builder, offering, or did they just make one for you because you're special?

I emailed Brian and asked if they could do that. He checked with the shop foreman who said they could accommodate. I don't know if it was a one-time exception or something they will do any time. Send them an email and ask if they will do it for you.

My first wife told me I was special. I don't know what she meant but I don't think it was good.  :icon_biggrin:

It doesn't hurt to ask if they can do that. They did say that an inline paddlehead on a 24" neck wasn't something they could do, though.
