... And now the GX is dead...

For 2 weeks my Line6 GX with PodFarm and everything has been stone dead. I've checked all my gear and reinstalled all drivers, but nothing. I'm considering sending the GX for repairs to see if it's the output/headphone jack that's wrong, but nothing.
The world famous support department of Line 6 is ignoring me.
I'm considering either sending in my GX in order to see if there's something wrong with it or upgrading to an UX1.
Does anyone here know if my PodFarm 1.12 patches/tones will be saved or can be used if I get the UX and upgrade to PodFarm 2.5? I've taken backup of the files. I just got some new gear and then the thing crashed so I'm really upset after trying to fix it for 2 weeks!

Maybe you should put in some new tubes or lube the pots?  :icon_jokercolor:

Very funny... I'm considering either just getting an UX and having to redo all my patches, or trying to have the output jack fixed.

My toneport broke. No hope for fixing it. So I canibalized all the caps and that was that. Hope you have better luck than I did. :dontknow:

I just ordered an UX1. Luckily I was able to order one I can use with the same older version of PodFarm that I used, because the 2.5 version lacks the Fender Showman bass amp patch. I've actually combined the 2x5 Showman cab with a SVT classic head wich gives an awesome warm midrange. The really fun part about stuff like PodFarm is that you can just forget that something is supposed to sound like the "real" stuff it's based on and create your totally own sounds.

I go back and forth between amplitube 3, my line 6 x3 live, and my x3 + 22w tube amp

they all work fine. I also like that I can play at late hours and have pretty much unlimited variety just messing around

I work nights, my wife works days. When I'm up all night Amplitube 3 is my savior.
