So, one more.
(I just can't seem to stop buying Warmoth stuff this year!)

1-piece Swamp Ash, Vintage Strat body, super lightweight at just 3lbs, 2 oz.!
Went for glossy Transparent Turquoise on this one - always wanted a Strat with this color!
Again not a true out of the box yet... but will update with real life finished pics, as soon as the package arrives.

this is actually much more green looking and more vibrant in person.
The pics came out more blue-ish and a bit dull.
This is totally stunning looking, but I feel I completely failed to capture it in the pictures.

Anyway, I think this is my favorite color ever!! Kudos to Warmoth!

That's a handsome part!  Congrats on another new build.  Have fun, and keep us supplied with photos.  :icon_thumright:

Thanks man, will do definitely! More to come...  :icon_biggrin:

I've been hankering for a bog standard strat. And I always said don't buy a Warmoth if you want a bog standard vanilla configuration.
But you can't buy a hardtail strat new for under $1k. And if you get it from Warmoth you can get a reverse angled bridge pickup.

pardon my ignorance, but what's a "bog" Strat?

bog-standard : having no special or interesting qualities : average

Why buy a Warmoth that's exactly like something you can buy off the shelf?

I guess just for the fun of building something unique. I can customize every little detail to my exact preference, even if it seems more "vanilla" to you. There's always something I can't find on a off-the-shelf Strat, or I would have to have it modded.
E.g. a 1-piece lightweight body, Callaham trem, Kinman pickups etc.
