Patrick thats a lot more Helpful, you the MAN. I'll go check the older threads & do the size
conversion. Back when this first came up I tried the Mac Master Carr & when I checked
specs going back & forth the site would lock you out, I said "This ain't gonna happen".
No sale there. Thanks again.

Mully, I did it with a sub-$10 kit from eBay and a regular electric drill on my living room floor. If you're good with a drill then you don't have anything to worry about.

Anyone have any experience with these types of things?

Looks like a simple solution for perpendicular drilling and, at about $25 or so, would be a good price point. If it doesn't work and you bork the neck it's not worth it, but still, I'm good with a drill and I have a good one, but I sure don't have the cash for a drill press.
