Ok, so on the Warmoth site, they have detailed diagrams of almost every bridge and Trem they sell, but for some reason there is none for the Fender American Standard Trem.  I can't seem to locate this elsewhere either, the Fender site is just about useless, you have to wade through so much garbage to find anything useful.  Anyway, without giving too much away, except to say that a new project may be bubbling to the surface over here,  I would love to find this info!

Is that the trem with two post? If it is I happen to have one here in a box. I could take any measurments you need.

Also speaking of that trem, I bought it for a project but went hardtail instead, would be happy to let it go cheap!

Edit*

Here are some measurements:

Post to Post = 2.23"  or 56.5mm
String spacing = 2.10"

Hey, thanks TT, what I am actually trying to determine is if any of the Warmoth trem routes will accomodate a Hipshot contour trem.  There were no detailed diagrams for the Fender Am Standard, so I didn't know if they were compatible.  I'm off to go compare now.  I've always been a hardtail guy, but I have this itch........

Ahhh, that I do not know. However if you want to put the Fender bender on a Wilky stud setup, it is a tight fit, that much I do know.

Good luck!

Acording to stewmac's site a traditional routing is used for the hipshot. The Warmoth site show that all the post holes are the same distance except for the Floyd.

The hipsot posts between centers is  2.220", and on the W site it shows under bridge option routes that all the standard Strat posts are 2.2" between centers. So I see no reason an American Standard trem route wouldn't work...... :dontknow:

Sweet, Dangerous.  I had come to the conclusion that it would work, but it is always reassuring when someone else comes to the same conclusion.  I have never owned a trem equipped guitar in my life.  In fact I usually talk trash about them, but I think I need one.
