While waiting for my Warmoth neck to be completed, I temporarily (?) installed a birdseye maple Mighty Mite neck, with jumbo frets and abalone inlays. The color matches perfectly with the body. Not quite sure if I like the satin finish; I may put a Tru-Oil or water-based varnish finish on it. I still need to install the string trees, and do a final setup; then it's ready to rock!

I enjoyed building this so much I already have the parts ordered for my next build; except, this time, I'll be using a Soloist body.

If you have staggered tuners and a well cut nut you don't have to have a string tree.

Agreed. However, my tuners aren't staggered, so string trees on my build are necessary.
