Hi all,

Delivered literally half an hour ago. This one's going to be painted Lake Placid Blue and sold. I also have a maple/rosewood neck on order. It's a heavy body, the shipping weight for the body alone was 6.6lb.

Specs?

-22 fret Maple/Rosewood Vintage Modern Neck.
-Bone nut
-Gotoh Vintage Tuners
-SS6105 fretwire
-Handshaped back contour (I ordered it as a boatneck, I'll go from there)
-2pc alder body (LPB finish)
-Handwound Mick Brierley pickups (the bee's knees of pickups  :headbang: )
-W/B/W pickguard
-Standard strat wiring
-Custom neckplate (being done locally as it ends up costing nearly $80 to get Doug to do it, sorry mate. He did my last one)
-Copper shielded

I've been toying with this idea of selling guitars I build. I've built a Warmoth (and have been told by several people it's the best guitar they've ever played) and a couple which were made by those other guys in Puyallup. I think I prefer Warmoth to source bodies/necks from. I'd be selling them as my own "brand" so to speak. I've seen quite a few people mainly in the USA that do this...even one in Melbourne who uses Warmoth.

Ben.
