That’s a great question. I’m not sure about the exact type, but I was thinking of using some kind of automotive paint. I want the brightest, most neon orange possible with some kind of flake. I’ve always known House of Kolor to have excellent paint and an outstanding finish. They may not be the best anymore but they used to be I think.

House of Kolor is wicked expensive. I have 3 guitars that are painted with PPG, also expensive but much less than H.O.K.
Just prime it, shoot the base coat, a couple coats of clear, color-sand & buff.
