Acoustic looking Strat bridge...AKA "Scartozi Bridge"

Whoa, Doc! That's heavy!

:help: Cagey .... can you please tell me your measurements / spec's used on the 1st scartozi bridge you have.
I presume your 2nd Brass one is the same spec's too.

Need to know ...
IE: is it based on the …. Narrow Strat Flat Mount  or the Vintage Strat Flat Mount or whatever ?

So I know which hardtail to be routed.
As the Standard Tele bridge rout with 4 mount holes, doesn't work with scartozi bridge.
ie: the 2 outer holes are where the wall of the bridge come up.

:icon_scratch: That make cense !!

Thanks  :icon_thumright:

I believe it's the "Vintage Strat Flat Mount". At least, that's how the mounting holes measure up. As it works out, the Tele body I bought to mount it on had already been drilled for a Tele bridge, so I'll have to drill the mounting holes anyway. It's no biggie. Once you line up the string-thru holes, the Tele bridge mounting holes all get covered up, so there's no cosmetic issue. There's also no intonation length issue, at least with the Graphtech saddles I bought (#3089, For Strat/Tele with 2-1/16" string spread from Stewart-MacDonald).

Cagey's bridge has Standard String Spacing.....2 1/16"

STRING SPACING
Standard Bridge.......2 1/16"
Vintage Bridge..........2 1/4"

Say! That looks like with a few minor modifications, it could be a bridge of some sort! Just needs some way of attaching saddles, I think.

Don't be a smart ass, I didn't say it was done.... :icon_biggrin:

Excellent! I'm really looking forward to this. Guitar's just sitting here waiting on that.

I think it will look pretty tight on that tele once it's all polished out... It has some gold flake in it doesn't it? :icon_scratch:

No, it's not a gold flake - at least I don't think it is. Tough to tell, but more likely silver or red. The finish is supposed to be a black cherry metallic, but it's really just a somewhat finer flake than a typical metal flake. I do have gold hardware on it, though.

Yes, metallic is flake just finer flake vs. the speedboat flake. Did I do a gold neck plate for it, don't remember.. :icon_scratch:

Right. Not real happy with it, truth be told. Not a big fan of flake finishes. But, at least it's a good color.

And yes, you made a gold plate for it.

I hate to bring a zombie thread back to life but...

I finally have the perfect project for this bridge.  It looks as though Adam hasn't been active on this board for awhile.

Does anyone know how to contact him?  I found his Pinterest account but no contact info.  Can't find an Ebay listing, or website.

Would like to confirm order before pulling the trigger on a custom body.

I would also buy a used one, if anyone has an extra...

Cheers, John

I think DangerousR6 here on the board may have the CNC files to mill you a bridge of this variety - Cagey, didn't DR6 make yours?
