I'm (Or used to be) Really good friends with Tom (the main guitarist/tele player) He's always been about the 80's metal guitar, so it's weird seeing him with a tele

I hate to sound like the a$$hole of the month but I don't like it at all. I don't wanna be a judgemental ass either but as a complete 80's hair-metal/hard rock nutcase this band leave much to be desired. Your not 80's unless you are from the 80's. Everything else is just a step too modern to be an authentic attempt at the genre. I can't speak for everyone but if I am their target market they better come out with some cheesier riffage to make me part with my cash.
