720 Mod on Carvetop Tele???

So I've read the details on the 720 mod. No-go for any guitar with an angled neck pocket, like a VIP or LP. Got it...

But unless I'm mistaken, the neck pocket on the CT Tele isn't angled, and for all intents and purposes, it's a regular tele body. I've tried spec'ing out a CT Tele with Body Builder and it isn't an option. So what's the deal?

While we're at it, how about the carved top Soloist? Is there a need for the 720 mod (if it were available, of course) to lower the pocket floor and reduce the gap?

It would all depend on the bridge used, any set up with a non-recessed TOM or non-recessed Floyd would have to have the angled neck pocket. However the recessed versions don't require the use of an angled neck pocket.

Correct. You can't have angled neck pocket in conjunction with the 720 mod.

On the Carved Top Tele and Carved Top Soloist, you can have the 720 mod in some bridge instances though the body builders aren't allowing it currently. We're fixing that now. Thanks for the heads up!
